Ramsey Island boat trips

We... read more had Mark (skipper) and Eirlys (Snowdrop) in a 280 horsepower rib. Our trip left and returned on time. We had booked the entire boat privately because, having stayed in St Brides bay for over 20 yrs, we wanted to see things from the sea (and no one else wanted to book this trip I guess). Mark was a great skipper and very knowledgeable about the coats having been here since a boy. Eirlys was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, having been recently involved in an archaeological dig nearby; also really nice to chat with. Mark timed it all very well; we managed about half of the bay in 2 hours then blasted back across the flat-calm bay at high speed. A really lovely informative and exciting trip. We might do the other half of the bay next year.
Note: the rib is black rubber which can leave marks on light-coloured trousers when climbing in and out.

We were a party of... read more ages 3 to 62 and all were very excited following the trip. The kids talked about it endlessly. We entered caves seeing seals and bird life. The crew looked after us continuosly,
we felt well cared for. It wasn't cheap but we felt worth every penny. It was the highlight for our Pembrokeshire holiday.

You sit astride on the seats and the boat goes fast!!
We went round Ramsey Island £ 28 per adult and it was great to go around this island and go into caves, see the nesting birds and seals. Obviously there’s no guarantee you will see anything!
The water was beautifully clear and so also saw some jellyfish!
It was a fun quick hour - enough for me as I’m not great on long boat trips!!

  Brilliant, just brilliant - booked 2 groups of 9 and we all had a fabulous Covid-free time with birds, seals & pups plus the amazing dolphins! We will all be back again!

  9 of us went out on the boat today for our last day in St David's and what a finale. There was another party of 2 with us and we... read more all wore our masks and had our temp taken before hand. Not a single complaint, apart from the Welsh weather leaving us all soaked to the skin but the experience was well worth it. All of the staff were lovely and we got to see loads of seals and some HUGE waves

  Excellent trip this lunchtime. Round the island and saw the seals and bird life. Definitely recommended.

We saw seals and some pups,... read more amazing rock formations, an extinct volcano and some very interesting birds. We also witnessed a rip tide which was a real spectacle. Well worth the money One thing to note, the trips were advertised for all ages, getting down to the boat involves lots of steep steps and getting on to the rib requires a good level of mobility. As you are required to site astride the seats you need to be able to get your leg up and over in a fairly small space. …

  Brilliant experience. Saw plenty of wildlife including seals, porpoise and sea birds. Went with a 6 and 11 year old who lived it. A must do trip which we'll remember... read more fondly for a long time.

  Amazing experience, was such fun! All Covid guidelines were followed so there was no worry or stress! Would 100% recommend.

  A great boat trip enjoyed by 3 generations and a dog. Great communication on initial phone call and a well organised boat trip. High speed and seal spotting. Loved it!
